There is a new crew at the helm of the Football Booster Club, but the objective is still the same--Improve the PHS Football Program and they still need YOU! Yes you! The newly installed, 2008 PHS Football Booster Club is looking for all Ponchatoulan's to come join the best Booster Club around and be part of the excitment of a new era for Ponchatoula High School Football. The Ponchatoula Community is an intricate part of the success and support of the PHS Football Team--HELP US HELP OUR TEAM--Join the Football Booster Club today! Call 225-413-6071. Just a few of the things this Booster Club has done for the TEAM!
So far we have purchased side line aluminum benches, a 48" cooling/misting fan, the way cool Green Wave Tunnel, new uniforms, new down markers for the side lines, new shoulder pads, new helmets, computor programs for the coaches to do stats and highlight films of the kids, a TV and CD recorder. This is just the stuff I can remember in this old dusty brain cavity, but you get the picture and there is a lot more this Club has lined up for 2008. We will keep you posted on new things for 2008--for sure we will be helping Coach Baiamonte with more new uniforms. That means that more players will be able to travel for the Green Wave's away games in '08. The Booster Club has also helped in the purchase of new WEIGHT ROOM items and will be helping with the purchase of some new TRAINING EQUIPMENT designed to improve position technique.
Remember--THIS CLUB IS ABOUT THE ENTIRE GREEN WAVE FOOTBALL TEAM, from the ground up, AND IT'S ABOUT FUTURE Green Wave Football Teams!
How can you not want to be a part of this exciting Club, so get up off your keester and come be a part of the future of PHS Football!!!!!!!
One more word: If you join the Booster Club your thoughts are shared with so many others who TRULY care about "THE KIDS" on the Green Wave football team.
This is "YOUR TEAM"--It's about YOU AND YOUR SONS or Grandson's PRIDE and this Booster Club is open to ALL who want to be a part of the FOOTBALL PROGRAMS GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT. You don't have to have a child on the football team to be a member or to support Ponchatoula Football....JOIN TODAY and be a part of the "NOW and FUTURE" PHS GREEN WAVE FOOTBALL TEAMS!
The Texas Hold'Em Tournaments in the past have been a huge success and have helped with the purchase of new shoulder pads, new helmets, special spirit t-shirts for all the kids that have been a part of the Green Wave Football Program. Only this tournament will be split with the Jr. Diabetes Organization. A great big thanks to all those who put out the time and effort to make it happen---THANKS!
